Do you ever get that feeling like you’re being watched?
In the best possible way, of course! 🙂
I was sitting way up high on a hill in the northwestern part of the basin, after a huffin’-and-puffin’ kind of climb, and I was looking out at the view when I happened to look straight to my right to see a pretty little face looking at me from under the cover (or so she thought) of trees. Ha!
Pretty Rowan in Buckeye’s band is a curious girl!
We are having some absolutely gorgeous weather. It’s mostly dry again, though I keep finding little pools in arroyos and canyons and other little places of still-damp ground. The mustangs are growing their winter coats and starting to look fuzzy. My favorite time of year.
Awwww. Rowan is such a cutie peeking at you through the branches. My favorite time of the year too, TJ. Finished our aspen tours (we were in Beaver Creek and environs a week and a half ago and hoped we might run into you!) Now on to the cottonwoods! Been a beautiful year for colors.
She was funny … just stopped mid-grazing, head low to see me from under the branches. 🙂 I didn’t get out a lot this year! Too busy, mostly, but my parents visited, and we did a super trip around to Durango and Silverton and Ouray! I’m so glad you and Denny got out there! The cottonwoods are looking really good along Disappointment Creek now, and I should have at least one pic coming up that shows them from a recent evening. 🙂
Looking forward to that pic, TJ!
What a cute picture! Rowan says “Peek-a-Boo, I see you!”
That pic just makes me chuckle. 🙂 I don’t know whether they think I can see them or not, but it’s always fun to see their curiosity when they maybe think I can’t?
Oh how sweet!!
Definitely. 🙂
